Sending Application
Welcome to the application process to join the Upstream Sending family. Our team has been praying for you and your church as you continue your journey in global missions.
This is the first part of a two-phase sending process. This first phase, including this written application, is the largest of the two phases (75 questions in total) and it will take time to complete. Don't get discouraged. All of the processes and steps we ask you to walk through have a purpose and are for your good and growth.
Please be thoughtful in filling out this online application. We ask that you create space in your schedule to answer questions thoroughly. We encourage you to not fill this form out in one sitting but to fill it out over a period of time, giving yourself space to think, reflect, and answer thoughtfully. If you sign-in using a Gmail account, this form will autosave so that you can come back and complete it later. Once you start the application, you will have 30 days to complete this form. After that, the form will no longer be available for you to access.
Before you begin, let me encourage you for just a moment. I understand that applications and assessments are by nature performance-driven. The reality is that none of us measure up fully to the standards of what we deem a global missionary should be. Thanks be to God that Jesus met every standard for us! Thus, in light of him and his grace in our lives, you can approach this process with honesty and a desire to grow, knowing that you have nothing to prove.
Finally, this is a confidential document that will be reviewed by key leaders at Upstream Sending and by leaders at your local church. No one else will read this document outside the above-mentioned groups.
