Emanuel & Shannon Bosson

Church Planting in Sweden

Emanuel and Shannon have had a desire to support and build the local church in Sweden for many years. They are being sent to Gothenburg, Sweden to work alongside a current church plant called Kungskyrkan (Kings Church). 

Emanuel will serve as an associate pastor and Shannon will help develop children’s ministry and women’s discipleship. The Bossons desire to have a hospitable home where they can invite local Swedes into community and share the gospel with them. 

Emanuel and Shannon have been married for 10 years and have two small children, Silas and Esther. They have lived in Louisville, Kentucky while Emanuel received his MA in Theological Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have been members at Sojourn Midtown in Louisville for 10 years where they have served as group leaders and group coaches.
